Takuya is a senior high school. Undecided about his career path he spends his time idly, feeling impatient. One day, his best friend Mamoru is involved in a traffic accident. Takuya gathers his friends to fulfill a promise they made to each other.
高三の上村拓也は秋になっても進路を決めかね、焦りを感じながらもダラダラと過ごしていた。ある日、仲良しグループの親友・高木が交通事故に遭う。上村は皆で交わした約束を果たすために仲間を集める。
“F is for Future” was based on an experience I had during my senior year of high school. Perhaps I wanted to preserve the days I spent at that time by making this movie. The actors who came to my first audition for the film have appeared in my subsequent films, and I look forward to seeing them mature each time I see them.
「ミは未来のミ」は自分が高校3年生の時に体験した事をベースに作りました。あの時過ごした日々を映画にして残したかったのかもしれません。初めてオーディションをした映画で出演してもらった役者さん達は、その後の作品でも出演してもらったりして、会う度に大人になっていくのを楽しみにしています。
