In the moving car, Shogo is talked by his father.
He tells Shogo that his mother, who left home 12 years ago, is coming back. Shogo is confused by what he hears. But beyond his fear, there is a glimmer of hope and doubt. Why has my mother come back? Out of curiosity, of course, and to get rid of his doubts, Shogo goes to the apartment where his mother is waiting for him.

走る車の中で、ショウゴは父から思いがけない話を聞かされる。12年前に家を出て行った母が、帰ってくるというのだ。

突然のことに、ショウゴは戸惑いを隠せない。怖さの向こうには、かすかな希望と、そして疑いの気持ちもあった。
