Hikari Osamura

長村ひかり

Hikari Osamura is a Japanese filmmaker born in Gifu, 1991. After graduating from Sorbonne Nouvelle University in audiovisual and cinema studies, she taught herself filmmaking and first worked as an assistant to Mary Stephen, editor of Yoichiro Okutani’s “Nude At Heart (2020)” (documentary film by Yoichiro Okutani). She presented the short version of her first documentary film “Love Letter to Mamie” at the Yamagata International Documentary Festival 2021 and completed it in 2023 with support from Tokyo University of the Arts.　／　長村ひかりは1991年、岐阜県生まれの日本人映画作家。ソルボンヌ・ヌーヴェル大学で映像・映画学を修了後、独学で映画制作を学ぶ。奥谷洋一郎監督のドキュメンタリー作品『ヌード・アット・ハート（2020）』にて、編集者マリー・ステファンのアシスタントを務めた。初のドキュメンタリー作品『マミーへのラブレター』の短縮版を2021年、山形国際ドキュメンタリー映画祭で発表。2023年、東京藝術大学の支援を受けて本作を完成させた。
