Asato Watanabe

Asato Watanabe was born in 1994 in Osaka. After graduating from the Visual Concept Planning Department, Osaka University of Arts, he entered the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts, where he studied film direction. Currently based in Tokyo, he is a member of STARDUST DIRECTORS. His undergraduate graduation project “A Dobugawa Dream” was screened at film festivals in Japan and abroad, and was released in theaters in 2021. His directorial works include "Ferocious," “A Dobugawa Dream,” "Pecking Beak," "Tissue Handler Girl” and etc.
